The active available homes on the Realtors MLS continues to decline with less than 1100 active available homes to choose from! Traditionally in Winter time many people either wait to list or pull their homes off the market so they are not bothered for the Holidays. The hottest commodity right now is the Finance-able home under $150k! Hard to find homes under $150k that can go either FHA or VA for financing.
The MLS shows the active available homes have decreased yet again to around 1200 units on the market.If this trend continues it will get very competitive out there! It is literally impossible to find a nice clean home that can be financed with either FHA or VA right now in the city of Redding. So far this year 1753 homes have sold on the Realtor’s MLS. Of those 1753 homes that sold, 1051 were either a short sale or an REO!
